i believe.
we were just heading home from the resort about 7ish when we thought we heard someone wailing away but we couldn't see where it was coming from. then just before i got into the car, i saw some commotion at the staff canteen. i walked over and realised that the young staff (who i dont even know his name!!!) was hanging tightly onto the GM with his eyes closed and he seems to be in some sort of a trance. i asked the frightened faces and yet no one dare speak up. Graeme grabbed one of his arms and started checking his pulse. He said his heartbeat was completely erratic. He later told me that a sharp pain went through him all the way to his feet.
For some strange reason, i got hold of the free hand, held on to it and started praying. A darkness encompassed me almost immediately. A great sense of despair and sadness swept through me and i almost thought i might start crying. I kept on praying until his dad arrived. I think he is a priest or holy man. As soon as he prayed over his child, the boy passed out.
We forget how the devil works sometimes.. he lurks around the corner to take a simple thing like hope away from you, that moment where you choose to believe or not. i felt that tonight and i was frightened but thankful for these reminders...
we went home that night and i found my hubby holding onto the rosary i gave him. he never knew how to use it or pray with it but he held it close to his heart which was feeling strange from the experience. I took out the copy of how to say the rosary that i received from my cousin brenda and he took the time to read through it...
in jesus name.. amen.
