about two months ago, nyoman whom most of you met when you came over, bought about 80 turtle eggs from the local market. we have all been reading about turtles the past two months trying to create the right environment for them to hatch. It's 61 days as of today and our little hatchlings are slowly popping out of its shell. thank god! they only about 3 to 4cm shell big :). the picture on the right bottom corner, this little one just arrived today. he was the 5th :)... no. 4 unfortunately arrived deformed... his tail was on his bottom shell and his back legs were backwards... that very minute i thank god that i was borned "normal". we weren't sure if it will survived. tried putting it in the same tub with its siblings but it said goodbye quietly. *sob*...
we still have many more wayans, mades, nyomans and ketuts to look forward to. let's hope they turn out ok. *fingers crossed*
will be releasing them out when they are about 4 months old. so if you are coming over in October or November you just might be able to witness something exciting! :)

We walk by faith, and not by sight; no gracious words we hear from him who spoke as none e'er spoke; but we believe him near. We may not touch his hands and side, nor follow where he trod; but in his promise we rejoice; and cry, "My Lord and God!" Help then, O Lord, our unbelief; and may our faith abound, to call on you when you are near, and seek where you are found: that, when our life of faith is done, in realms of clearer light we may behold you as you are, with full and endless sight..
