our 55 minutes rendezvous
went out diving with hubby today. just me and him. the staff called it our "romantic dive" hee hee... it was :)
we headed out to Gili Tepekong, the big island just infront of the resort. was fumbling around with the BCD and finally got down. i have only been there once i think. forgot how beautiful it was.
we arrived at 15 metres and finned towards the coral where two baby white tip sharks were... hubby knows big or small i still get a bit freaked when i see them. i made sure i was behind him the whole time! just imagine all those indian movies you watched with the actor or actress dancing behind the tree... that's me hee hee...
we swam towards the wall...saw a pretty white and yellow nudibranch actually moving...we spotted 5 lionfishes and it was really quite a spectacular sight when one of them started dancing out of the coral... so graceful, so pretty... you feel tempted to move towards it...
we were diving along and i decided to turned around and look up, the place was heaving with life. all colours you can imagine and fishes everywhere...
graeme's favourite is "nemo". you get nemos the size of your palm where we were.. there were anemones everywhere and it was like a mad dance floor going on!
we finned on and then the water temperature started dropping to about 23 degrees... i was freezing and graeme turned around, looked at me and signal so very very slowly "sharks... big fat sharks... two" . one big fat mama and probably the old man daddy with her... i was doing the indian dance again... she was pregnant... hmm... do they get more aggressive and territorial i wonder... me grabbed hubby's hand when they moved from the seabed and started swimming away from us thank god. i kept turning around even when we swam off in the other direction...
we saw two more baby sharks later and a turtle which made my day! our air was almost up, so we did our 3 minutes stop hovering at 5 meters... 500,400,300,200,100 ,(the 3 minutes stop always seems like ages...) 0... and started finning slow up to the surface.
my 55 minutes rendezvous with my hubby was over.. i was just grinning stupid, trying to relive the moments and spacing out from conversations which i think was obvious.
it was a good sunday...

2 hours drive for fish & chips!
after much yelling and screaming in the car and almost giving up looking for the place, we finally found the restaurant -The Beach House at Ecko Beach - Canggu. (The map does not call the beach something else not Ecko beach!)
ok i must admit that all the ra-ra in the car was worth it. we drove to places we have never been at least we now know how to get there (well it's hard to say actually after so many wrong turns!) and the view was breath-taking. and the food! excellent. by the time we arrived we were starving and i forgot to take pictures of my fish and chips! but i managed to take picture of the view and the beach after :).. here it is, what do you think?

high from diving!
![]()
If you don't know them you would think these crazy 50 year old three-some are on drugs! :) they were behaving like children like their first trip to the zoo to see animals! they were not really talking to each other but just giggling like school girls from the high from their dive at Tulamben :). so there i was whipping out my ixus 30 clicking away. couldn't resist the happy candid moments :)..
so if you think you are too old to try anything new! think again!
oh these are our friends and members at our resort.
PS: those two boys are graeme's new staff... all a bit dingdong too :)

just rambling...
i know i have not been blogging as much only because it's been a crazy few weeks and i have been absolutely
cranky about people at work, in-laws and especially that dumb nut old man who thinks he knows it all. That dumb nut makes me so mad i could feel the evil witch in me taking over... really think i was once a witch... always had a dream about witch, dark and faceless, black hat, black cat and broom.. sitting on his broom at my living room when we were still living at Bendemeer. we would have staring competition and it was only later on i begin to realise i was looking at me... hee hee..oh i must add the witch that i am is not evil.. it just want to carry out justice and use her power when needed to teach the real evil people a lesson...ok i am rambling ... ;)muffin's mum and i agree no one really wants to blog a bad day or have someone read negative stuff.. especially when you know your friends and family are reading them. you just don't want to spoil someone's mood or day when they read your blogs... or at least that's our sentiments...
anyway, i woke up today feeling a little out of sort... but happy that we are finally putting some cement and concrete in the back garden so that charlie can go outside without catching anything and we can safely put him outside in the day so that all his "BUSINESS" gets done outside... hopefully our house will be free of pee and poo soon..and i can start putting pretty pots of plants and give the place a bit of feminine touch!
the past few weeks have been quite unbearable but i thank god for my friends who have been around over the emails and phone.... i walked into the resort today and was absolutely cracked up by Julie. (she is a member at the resort) She is the most beautiful 50 year old lady i know. She has the energy and the same mischieviousness of a teenager :).. i thank god for having her around for the next 3 weeks and then i just need to count down another 4 days before i get back to Singapore! Can't wait!!!

We walk by faith, and not by sight; no gracious words we hear from him who spoke as none e'er spoke; but we believe him near. We may not touch his hands and side, nor follow where he trod; but in his promise we rejoice; and cry, "My Lord and God!" Help then, O Lord, our unbelief; and may our faith abound, to call on you when you are near, and seek where you are found: that, when our life of faith is done, in realms of clearer light we may behold you as you are, with full and endless sight..
