our sunday

hubby and i were over at jeni's place today. hubby goes to jeni for help with his back. i think this is his 4th visit. the healing sessions intrigue me. it's called aquarian healing. read more about it from this website http://www.aquarianhealing.co.nz/about.shtml i am still learning about the methods and ways myself. i think the fact that the healing methods are very.. well wholesome? it draws me to it... the best thing for me is to see how hubby can get out of bed without tears in his eyes and how the sessions seem to have given him HOPE literally and hope of getting better. these are reasons enough for us to keep going back.

i was there during today's session and felt all sorts of emotions throughout and wonder if it was my hubby's emotions. jeni asked that i be present today and i guess i know why then. before the session, she ask if i would see her too for a session. and again before we left. for a moment when i touched her hand to say good bye i felt almost relieved that someone understood all those emotions stirred up in me. It's been a struggle keeping a sense of ..."balance" with the negativity and the bad bad people around us. i was grateful that someone wanted to help.

i felt like God was very present today. I felt Him talking through jeni. I felt Him when i was floating on my back in jeni's pool especially when i went right under the coconunt tree, squinting as the rays came through between the leaves. the water sealed up the sound all around me and it felt like music were playing up in an echoly fashion. i found myself grinning as i swam to the edge.

it was a lovely sunday. feeling that perhaps everything will be ok. a little bit of HOPE and LOVE goes a long way doesnt it ? :)

Reunion Dinner in Bali

we had a our very own exclusive (invites only!) reunion steamboat dinner last night. venue: the rooftop bar on the resort. we all had a bintang in our hand whilst waiting for the soup to come to a boil and watch god at work... the beautiful sunset that i often take for granted was just amazing and our evening were greeted with one of the biggest and loveliest rainbow that i have ever seen! it rained a little but almost felt like tradition to do so every 1st day of new year. (like how it always rain on good friday about 1 to 3pm!)

thanks to Nyoman - my bro and god-send friend at work.- the food was yummy, the broth just like how my mum would do it! even the table were strewned with pretty frangipanis and he even bothered to dress up shirt and pants for the evening! it was a new experience for most and an old one for me that i yearn and crave for. Sitting together and eating and chatting together over good food and bintangs and watching my hubby play catch and tickle with the little monsters. It was good to see our young guests having so much fun!

to the man that made it happened!!!

an unexpected rush :)

i snorkelled off the resort very often but never beyond the reefs as I am not exactly a strong swimmer. The other reason and the real determent i must admit : i don't like hovering on the surface of deeper waters cos i think of ...*jaws tune*... mr. sharkie! the movie has left quite an impression on me as you can tell and though i am brave enough to dive and love the experience, i still haven't gotten over the fear or the movie hee hee..

but today, hubby was with me and the sea was just calling to us, so alluring, so calm...so much so that when be beckons me to go over the reef, i followed. We stayed there for a quite a while and it was beautiful... but i think my fears got the better of me at some point and transcended to a physical state. Psychosomatic or not, i got cramps on my feet... and then the other... we decided to head back to shore...

and there it happened... as we were going over the reefs again, the waves pushed us forward, we stopped finning and glided along the surface like graceful giants! it was such an amazing feeling! we turned around and looked at each other and just grinned feeling the same rush! i can only describe it this way : i felt like a dolphin! :)... like the sea was my home *LOL* That rush i got from it was so overwhelming that i forgot my fear of ... *jaw tunes*... :)...

i think i just might go over the reefs again soon :)... with a buddy of course. :)

When the lights go out...

We were watching "Tyson" last night when the power went off.. it's been happening often the last week with a bit of rain and lightning (that reminds me i have to get my roof fixed. some tiles have fallen off the night before!)

When it seems like the power was not going to come back soon and we were going to be tv-deprived for a while, hubby and i started chatting inane stuff.. like how to make a mechanical fan because it was getting a wee bit humid, we were talking about physics and newton law which i only bearly remember. Then the topic that comes up all the time : if you can bring only one type of food and you get to pick the choice of drink to take to an island and for the rest of your life you have to eat and drink what you picked that day, what would it be? Hubby was battling between roast dinner OR Monster munch (pickle onion flavour). The beverage was a natural choice - beer. He added if you choose hot food you can have a microwave AND electric supplied to you and since the beer has to be cold you will get a fridge as well! HOW GENEROUS! haha...

I couldn't think of anything specific (well how the hell do you pick one food! even if it's nasi lemak! you get sick of eating that day and night!) but only how to get my hubby to share his favourite food with me if i get bored with what i picked! :) i was toying with the idea of getting something that we both like, that way chances of sharing would be easier heheheh...

We went along the topic for a while in between playing with the remote control helicopter we bought from singapore. thank goodness for battery operated toys!... (who invented batteries btw?)

It was two hours later that the light came on and all conversation just came to a halt and hubby immediately pounced on his remote controls! :)

A good friend asked me just last week, how's married life :)... i guess this is all part of it... talking inane stuff and having loads of fun at the same time... :)...

Productive / Unproductive day?

slept left me last night
so i read "lovely bones" till the last page.
am a bit zombified today...
i decided to go into the sea
i let myself float on the water,
squinting at the beautiful sun setting.
i started humming and singing hymns
and hope that god will find his way into our hearts and show us the way.
the heaviness was just attempting to seep away from my bones when a little black and white clown fish (size of a m&m chocolate) chased me out of his home...
well... time to make dinner...
